School holidays
Holidays are here. Last day of school for over two weeks. Hmmm what to do with the lion cubs. So far there is a sports camp for a day, soccer camp for three mornings, local production of Peter Pan, some play dates, Bastille party with cousins. I reckon that's enough for two weeks. The big question is whether to squeeze in uni work, clean out the house cupboards or just play with the kids. I'm facing some serious sorting of the clothes, time for the hand-me-downs to trickle down the line. I guess you can see one of my time saving methods. Clothes are not exactly folded very well.

We've been using the family fun day Sunday $2.50 all you can travel on public transport lately. Geez its great. Sunny days at Manly, aquariums and lego shows in Sydney, BBQ at Neutral Bay. Life is so much easier now the kids are getting older.

Gidday PhD. Long time, no see! You're game, that's all I can say. You should see my cupboards! LOL They're exactly the same. One week of school holidays over already for us up here in sunny Qld. Only have 1 at home on Mon, Tue and Wed while the other is at Kindy but we've been making use of the time at play dates and CARS related activities. Off to see Disney on Ice tomorrow and saw the movie last Saturday.

Play with the kids :). House cleans and study both need some form of concentration so unless you absolutely need to study or you can't find the kids for the mess let yourself go and be silly with them. My youngest started high school this year and I wonder when the last dozen years slipped by!
Whatever works for you on the day is the way to go.

Definitely play with the kids,they'll never be this age again. It's all about the memories and you've got enough of cleaning and study to last you till infinity!
Great idea about the travel, just being in differant surroundings is a breath of fresh air. I knew a woman with 3 boys who had those ironing hangers thingies in the garage for her boys clothes with their drawers beside them. She got them to take their clothes from the line, hang them up then she inspected. Worked for them!
I could never post a photo of my linen press...
